Jill how are you liking Work at Home United. I like this group. Now that my stress at home is not as bad, my Mentor is not as stressed either, so things are going much better.

I also like being able to work in my Pjs and drinking coffee in my comfy home.

I have invented a patent pending product for kids that also makes moms (and dads) lives easier. It is the nomie baby car seat cover. It is a removable, washable and waterproof cover for infant and toddler/convertible car seats. I priced it reasonably , at $34.95, so that it can become a baby basic and mom-must-have. If you have ever tried taking off the cover on your child's car seat and struggled with the straps, then this is for you. No more wrestling and struggling. Visit www.nomiebaby.com The feedback has been terrific, and slowly but surely it's getting out there, and it's in 14 stores in 6 states!
Here's to Happy-mess!

I've owned a business support service since 1997. We provide word processing, data entry, transcription, and desktop publishing. We offer services to help small and homebased business owners save time on the administrative duties so they can concentrate on what they do best, grow their business. Our customers a mainly attorneys to help them with the day-to-day work, including answers to interrogatories, requests for the production of documents, motions, letters, certificates of service, and more. I am the only employee but I have 10 subcontractors throughout the United States to help me when I need them (mostly for digital transcription). My company is Maryland Secretarial Services, Inc. and the website is www.webmss.com. I have a blog on the contact page and it offers information on how to start and grow a homebased business support service. I live in Bowie, Maryland with my husband, two teenage daughters, and my "baby," a 110 pound Akita named Athena.

Hi all!
My name is Brandy Astwood and I am the blessed mama of 6

In 1997 I quit smoking using hypnosis and in lit a fire! After completing my clinical training in 1999 I opened The Solution Within Hypnosis Center.

In 2003 I became a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator(www.CaliforniaHypnoBirthing.com) assisting moms have a shorter, safer birth with little or no medication needed. Now I empower women to make educated choices during birth and beyond. The greatest part is I get to attend most of the births and be an auntie to all these lil babies that came peacefully into the world

Since then I have created several successful programs....
Healthy Changes Weight Loss Challenge
Banish the Bad Mood Mama, stress reduction and life transformation for busy moms
Healthy Beginnings Prenatal Stop Smoking Program
Break Free from Smoking

In 2007 I started a holistic networking group for my local communtiy whick quickly grew and out of that I created www.MotherlodeHolistic.com, an online directory of holistic living resources available in Amador and Calaveras Counties in Northern California

After learning the ropes of having an online buiness with that, I ventured into creating a website and audio program for my highly successful Banish the Bad Mood Mama workshops (www.BanishtheBAdMoodMama.com) Still working on all the audio's but please stop by and get a free 10 minute guided relaxation created just for busy mamas like you

Currently I am working on the creating of www.mybirthconnection.com a local resource guide for mothers in my community along with being the place where I will sell my soon to be released prenatal stop smoking program, Healthy Beginnings

Add to that I am the office manager for my husbands business, Astwood Tree Surgery.

It sounds like I do alot but in reality I have a very relaxed life...I can be active in my childrens schools and in my community and we manage to have dinner together every night. Now I will say I use work as a way to avoid house work! But every Sunday we have family chore day so it isnt a total pigsty.Plus it helps that kid # 6 started preschool so I have 3 whole hours M-F to get work done without interuption..it is amazing how I can fly through my piles when Im not interupted 3 million times in an hour lol

I have become very clear on whats inportant to me and from that there is this wonderfull flow created, I know I could work more and make more $$$ but I would rather enjoy my children now as I lay the foundation for HUGE SUCCESS in the future.

Blessing to all you creative, hardworking mamas with the motivation for success!!!

I recently joined GBG wellness and I love it. Their primary product is a 10 in 1 Liquid formula vitamin - that is great! With the purchase of their vitamins (less than $30 a month and that includes shipping) you get your own back office with them. For all of the details - go to : http://shopgbg.com/pennym

I am a member of a group of women (over 100 strong!) that are working together to make sure we all succeed. If you join my team - we guarantee you your two sign ups to launch your business. (and we guarantee those two sign ups, their two sign ups and so on and so forth!)

You can't lose!!

I am currently trying to establish my own bookkeeping service from home, I am currently on employed and having a difficult time finding a full time position that pays what accountants deserve. Am a single mom whom gets no child support help from from ex and am desperatly seeking out new clients. I do not know where to begin as I moved to the Las Vegas, NV area about 3 years ago and don't really have any business contacts except for my old coworkers. Any suggestions anyone has would be great. Need to feed the kid and unemployment checks are only covering rent/utilities.

Hi

I've been working at home since 1985. I am a virtual assistant and have written numerous books on how to become a virtual assistant. http://www.virtualwordpublishing.com. Through the years, I've pretty much done it all, but today my specialty is publicity and marketing and virtual assistant coaching.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Here are some suggestions:

1) go on Linked In www.linkedin.com and create a profile, and find your co-workers, and other people that might know people (yes, I have a LinkedIn profile)
2)Create a facebook account www.facebook.com, and make friends, (I am now up to 80 friends), (Yes, I also have a facebook account. On facebook, make also a "company" page, and create a fan page, get your friends to become a fan.
3)go onto www.startupnation.com, they have some great marketing advice there
4)go onto www.ning.com, get on Mommy2mommy, Sta.rtup.biz (something like that), MumsNetworking, Mombloggers, AdGabber, and whatever else you can find. (and yes, you may also create your own networking site on www.ning.com as well)
5)Get on twitter, www.twitter.com (and yes, I'm on twitter too as giazzpet) and follow people, and have people follow you. My rule of thumb is if you get followers, you should also follow them.
6)Plaxo Pulse is good, Kwippy is good, Google Ad Space is good, Google is a great marketing tool
8) you can blog about your business, but you will also need to promote that, I personally like LiveJournal and Google Blogspot for that.
7)Network with me, I have other ideas.

Also, create business cards and go to networking events, including: Marketing promotions, Unemployment stuff, and network, network network.

If you want to be friends, just let me know.

I also have a friend in Van Nuys, LA. (she's a teacher there)

I own a website called ThePinkButterflyStore.com I design girl's hair accesories. I used to work a 9-5, M-F job and quit on an impulse. It was a horribly boring job. I began my website and have slowly made progress. It's the best decision I've ever made!

I just recently found The MOM Team and I absolutely LOVE it! I'm on my way to being debt free for the first time in I can't remember how long and also on my way to working full time at home instead of full time away from home!

What I do is online and offline marketing and account set up for an international wellness company. I LOVE it! Not only am I making my own household safer and environmentally friendly, I'm helping others to do the same. It's very rewarding in so many senses.
