I am curious - any entrepreneur moms here also the primary breadwinners in your family? Do you feel a great deal of pressure because of this or are you ok with it?

i am not an entrepreneur (yet!) (and really that word is SO hard to spell!) but i am the breadwinner by a long shot. i was fine with it until i became pregnant with our son, and thought i wanted to stay home and there wasnt even an OPTION to do so. but then after he was born and i went back to work - i realized that i really really really loved working AND beign a mom!

Yes i do feel a lot of pressure to succeed, but i think a lot of it is of my own making since i am the oldest and feel responsible for my mother and siblings as well! my hubby is just proud of me and encourages me to do what i want with my career and career choices. that is a HUGE help

Not yet, but we're sure working toward it! I don't feel pressure about it yet, at least not always ;). I know that if I do become the primary bread winner there will be pressure from many areas and I feel like I'm ready. We've been working toward this for a long time, only wish we'd come to it sooner so that hubby can be home with the girls more.

I have been by default for the past couple of months. Not by choice, but by circumstance.

Thank goodness hubby found a fabulous new job and some of the pressure will be off. I'm one who has a full time job plus work at home gigs - and it's been the work at home income that's been able to keep us from going under. I've felt very pressured (not by anyone but myself) to kick things up a notch and bring in more income.

I've decided I like making money, but I don't like being the primary. I'll take second place happily.
