Ladies . . . I won't bore you with the details, but need your help.
I need to find event sites, mommy blogs, etc. to help get our Washington DC event featured as the new fun family event to hit their city.
Anyone? (I did just check out http://todaysmama.com which was great . . . ) . . . looking for more!Flag as inappropriate Posted by Naomi on 11th December 2007 -
Hang on - let me as a member who I know is really active in DC - will send her this link.Flag as inappropriate Posted by Nataly on 12th December 2007

hello Naomi

have you checked out the local site DVM Moms?
www.washingtonpost.com has a lot of online blogs and advertising that might not be that expensive.
you can searh www.blogher.com for DC and get a ton of blogs!
might also want to talk to the moms over at DC Metro Moms
eventually i think you would do well to advertise on the radio, what about hot995 as a lot of mom/kids tend to listen to them (and go to their website!)
thats all i have for now but if i think of anything else i will let you know!Flag as inappropriate Posted by Kate on 12th December 2007 -
I have been searching and searching and searching . . . . seems all I'm doing lately is sending emails to the bloggers and asking nicely to feature RNT on their blogs . . . I think that's gonna be a great way to get word out . . . parents trust other parents.
We just yesterday found out about a "similar" event and we're getting such negative feedback from it
Sad and a bit discouraging, BUT . .. we are not threatened by their presence . . .
I will definitely check out DVM Moms . . . and most of my blog requests were initiated from the DC Metro Moms group . . .
THANKS KATE!Flag as inappropriate Posted by Naomi on 12th December 2007 -
