I did an interview yesterday and one of the questions was about what I've learned about being an entrepreneur.

I hated to just pick one, but I said the one huge learning was about being your own cheerleader and learning to believe in an eventual positive outcome. I am not an optimist by nature but there are so many challenges in running a business that I think you have to be one -- you have to believe that you CAN get through the tough times, that things will work out.

What about you? What have you learned since becoming an entrepreneur?

I think I have to agree with you -- the biggest thing that I have learned is to be positive about my concept and my products and believe in myself!
In the beginning, even though I knew in my heart the idea was a good one, it felt strange being openly positive about it! I kept hearing myself say "I've started this little business...not really sure....what do you think..." and now I have made myself change that to "I've started this really cool business...I have this great concept....I am so excited about it...!"

Definitely a big mindset change for me!
