I'm a new Mom trying to juggle working at home and having a young baby. In the past year and a half I have gotten married, graduated college, and had a baby. I am trying to build up a business as a spanish/english translator. My husband is a teacher...so we get by, but we could always use more money. I also want to continue to keep my skills sharp, because I know I'm not going to want to stay home forever. I'm interested in making friends and networking with other inspired mamas!

Hey Wave of Gratitude, Congratulations on your new business. I think that some of the best ways to get noticed are to participate in a community. For example, since you have a blogging section, participate in the comments section of blogs similar to yours. As you build rapport with others they may be willing to do a feature about your site on their blog, or put a link on their page. That can help get the web word of mouth out there. Good luck to you!

There is actually a really fun and informative site called the 30 Day Challenge. It is an internet marketing challenge that teaches you to use free web tools to promote your website and make money online. The official challenge kicks off on August 1st I think. It is currently in the second week of preseason and I have already learned a lot about free social networking and other tools I wasn't aware of.
I think this is the fourth year of the challenge. Some past participants have done very well.
Best of luck in your new business!

I'm a working mom of three who enjoys a multi-faceted career that includes owning a HR consulting company (because it's what I know), teaching college classes part-time (because I love to share what I know) and operating an Arbonne business (because it's just plain fun to be girly and make money at it).

My husband and 2 daughters and I live in the east Tennessee. We are within one hour of the Smokey Mtns, which means we can hike and camp. I love being outdoors. Gardening is a favorite hobby for me.

Hi! I'm Lisa Willard and I'm glad to be networking with you. ..
I enjoy exercising(yes,I really do), being outdoors, cooking, shopping and watching the kids play sports.
My other passion - working at home and helping others do the same.
I began looking at the network marketing industry two and half years ago. Why? Because I wanted more freedom. As an employee of Corporate America, I wanted more flexibility and more time with my family.
Here are some of things that appealed to me as I looked at staring my home business.
* No more 9-5
* No more boss
* Time freedom
* Financial freedom
I enjoy coaching and training others who have the desire to create the same thing.
It is important to me to train and coach as many people as possible on how to do things the right way and not make the mistakes that I did.
I enjoy helping others define their goals, reach their potential and become successful leaders.
Network Marketing can really change your life. You must be ready to take action, work hard and put your blinders on.
The best part is - anyone can do this. I'm an average mom, who didn't have any network marketing experience.

Hi SinglemommynTN,
Get involved in different communities just like this one. Get involved in the forums. Offer advice and valuable information. Start a blog about resumes. Once again offer tips and valuable advice. Show that you are an expert. Make two friends a day. You can do this either online or offline.
BELIEVE Success!

Hi i was wondering if you would like to exchange links. I just started my website and well it seems to exchange links with other websites they want you to pay!
So if you would like maybe we can exchange a link? My product is a mei tai baby carrier, but i don't mind if your items are not in the same boat, just as long as our product is in another location.
if so let me know and we can get started thanks Robye!

I just added a page to my site. Anyone with a site that wants a link please send me your info. It only needs to be a positive site and we will add as many as we can fit.
Thank you
