Tax time: have you been good or bad?

If you're a freelancer, you have to set aside money for taxes. Are you a savings stickler? Or have you been bad in '07, using the money you should have set aside for other purposes? I live in a tax haven country, so I´m kinda lucky that way.

I was bad last year, and NOT looking forward to finding out how much I'll owe (on the up side - it's good that I did good enough to owe... last year was my best so far - until this year came along!)
This year I'm being VERY good! I'm setting aside a big percentage - I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to start paying quarterly taxes, and I do NOT want to be caught off guard again.
