I'm a new Mom trying to juggle working at home and having a young baby. In the past year and a half I have gotten married, graduated college, and had a baby. I am trying to build up a business as a spanish/english translator. My husband is a teacher...so we get by, but we could always use more money. I also want to continue to keep my skills sharp, because I know I'm not going to want to stay home forever. I'm interested in making friends and networking with other inspired mamas!

I can answer this in one word. Skirts. I never where skirts or dresses during the winter months because it's cold. In the past week, I've worn a skirt almost every day. It's glorious. What do you love (or hate) about your summer work wardrobe?

I am a single mom. Never been married. I would like to get married one day. I am just starting in the dream industry for me, which is IT. I am extremely excited and blessed to be able to leave sales and go into something that I love.

I wear a lot of capris and skirts also. I love graphic tees too. But, I still like to wear jeans and flip flops.

I'm a career mom with 3 kids ages 5, 8, and 20. I got started young and have worked very hard to achieve a solid career. It's funny, but I find that although younger and single with my first, being married, financially secure, and two kids is much more stressful. I'm looking for some balance and tips from other moms. I'm also interested in mom's that started their own businesses and how you've managed to do it! Or, had you switch careers

Well winter in Houston isn't really winter, but in the summer boy does it get hot! I wear capris and sandles, and even tank tops (this is so bizarre to me, but I guess because it gets so hot here its acceptable being from NY and Cali I would never think it to be ok, but everyone in my office does it)

I am the co-founder & CEO of Work It, Mom! This is my first stint as a full-time entrepreneur and it's the most thrilling and scary thing I've ever done.
Before launching Work It, Mom! I slaved away in the dark world of venture capital.

I have a real issue with my summer work wardrobe, actually -- I seem to always end up with too many silly tshirts and not enough office stufF

I'm 22. I graduated college at the age of 20 and had my first child one month after I turned 21. I own my own home and work full time as a CAD drafter/3d modeller.

I dress the same year round. My cube is in the bottom floor (the cellar! hah!) of the company. In my cube, above my chair, is a lovely (sarcasm) cold air vent. It blows cold air all year round. Even other people that come in my cube from the ones beside me (mind you the walls of the cubes are about 2' below the ceiling) tell me how cold it is in here. I wear sweaters almost every day. I just about suffocate when I get out of here though. Even going out for lunch in 80° weather in a sweater is pretty icky but it stays under 65° at my work desk. We aren't allowed to wear any logos or words on our clothes here, so 99% of my hoodies are out of the dress code.

Yikes Marcia, the cold thing sounds miserable. I hate being in an over air-conditioned office.
