I am the co-founder & CEO of Work It, Mom! This is my first stint as a full-time entrepreneur and it's the most thrilling and scary thing I've ever done.
Before launching Work It, Mom! I slaved away in the dark world of venture capital.

Mine, by far, is seeing my daughter get on skis for the first time. We went away to ski for a few days and she took a lesson. She is 3.5 and spent most of it on her butt, but with a big smile and loved it!

I've worked fulltime since college (20 years ago!) as an accountant/manager in the nonprofit sector. I'm recently married for the second time - in addition to my son, I have two stepchildren (one girl, one boy). And then there's my four-legged canine "daughter."

Favorite present? That one's easy - my new MacBook! I'll miss it when I'm at work, using my PC.
The best thing about this Christmas has been hosting the gathering of extended family. My mother-in-law was with us since Sunday, and is going home today. My stepkids joined us Christmas morning, and since Grandma was there too, gift opening took a pretty long time. My son's girlfriend, meeting us all for the first time, seems to be fitting right in to our crazy mix. Christmas Eve dinner was fun at my sister's house, but the Christmas Day meal was all mine, and I enjoyed preparing it all.
Since my stepkids' mom brought them to our house on Christmas morning, and then stayed through gift-opening, the kids had "present time" with both their parents. I wasn't sure whether that would happen this year - it would have been the first time since their parents' divorce if it hadn't - but it worked out. With my son and his girlfriend, my mother-in-law, my stepkids and their mom, my husband and me, and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, it was one of the nicest Christmas mornings I can remember in a long time.

I sewed my daughter a nightgown and let her open it Christmas Eve. Her reaction was priceless! She's almost 4 and she's been wanting a nightgown for months- when she opened it she was elated! It feels great to know that her favorite gift is something I made with my own two hands.

Listening to my 3-year-old tell her stuffed animals on Christmas morning: "Guess who is coming soon? My big sisters and brother! And Santa, too!" It was so sweet to hear that her big siblings are above even Santa on her excitment scale.

I'm a new Mom trying to juggle working at home and having a young baby. In the past year and a half I have gotten married, graduated college, and had a baby. I am trying to build up a business as a spanish/english translator. My husband is a teacher...so we get by, but we could always use more money. I also want to continue to keep my skills sharp, because I know I'm not going to want to stay home forever. I'm interested in making friends and networking with other inspired mamas!

I am the very proud mother of a too-cute-for-words one year old son! My job has me commuting an hour each way, but I do work from home one day a week and get to see hubby and son as soon as they get home! My hubby takes our son to/from the onsite daycare where he works and is able to spend an hour or two bonding (i.e. wrestling)before i get home! :)

The best moments/gifts were of/for our son (he's about a year and a half). His godparents got him this little 4 weeler ride on truck thing and he didnt realize that when you push the little red button it MOVES! he got scared, jumped off, and ran to mommy and daddy! LOL this one is not a daredevil! he is also scared of the remote control car and says ' go away!!! ' when it gets too close! very cute!!

Mine would have to be a few years back the Christmas that my son recieved his drum set. I had never seen him so happy and haven't seen him that happy since about a present. His eyes were huge and he actaully had tears. An awesome feeling!
