I am the co-founder & CEO of Work It, Mom! This is my first stint as a full-time entrepreneur and it's the most thrilling and scary thing I've ever done.
Before launching Work It, Mom! I slaved away in the dark world of venture capital.

It depends... if I'm down about work, I take a break and remind myself of what I've accomplished lately (not what I've crossed off my to-do list, but what I've done that's made a difference in my life or my resume or my coworker's lives). If I'm down about my juggle, I try to do something to help someone else. It makes me feel better, and it reminds me that so many women have it so much worse than I do...

I am a Canadian expat living in Guatemala. I am a work at home mom with two kids under two and a freelance writer.
It is not easy, but my husband was recently able to quit his teaching job to stay home and watch the boys while I work and focus on his night career as a musician, his true calling! I call that success. :D

I usually have a nap. Most of the time, when I´m feeling down, it´s brought on by sleep deprivation, so a nap is a good way to get back on my feet.
If that´s not possible, I´ll often watch a movie or read a book to get my mind off things.

When Im feeling down, I start thinking of other people who are in worse situations.
Then I take a moment to say any short prayer and thank God for all the blessings I have, like good health, healthy children, a roof over my head, food in the fridge etc.
I've experienced that feeling grateful for all the little blessings, really helps.

I work a very demanding job, and try my best to not let work dictate my life. My girls are awesome, and they are the best part of all ofmy days.

If it's work getting me down, I call another District Manager, and they make me laugh about the drama that is our job.
If it's other, then I usually treat myself to a new book by a favorite author.

I'm a busy mom of a very active 1 year old boy. I love spending as much time as possible with Peyton Jack and am looking forward to meeting other working moms going through what I'm going through.

When I'm feeling down about not being able to balance the craziness of a family and work, I watch "John and Kate plus 8". It's that reality show about the couple with 2 six year olds and 6 two year olds. It always makes my life look so serene and in control. It really puts things into perspective. I feel better instantly and it's pretty entertaining, too.

Pyetonjacksmama -- OMG, I just saw the show the other day by accident, at the gym -- and wow, yes, makes me feel like I have so much less to handle
Somehow for me, when I feel down re work, it's harder to snap back up than if it's about balancing things or something at home -- maybe I should find some show about startup founders
