I haven't seen Golden Compass but I think it will be a good movie? Has anyone seen it? And if so, what did you think?

I haven't seen it. But the priest at my church told me to avoid it.

Anyone see the Dan's Life or Dan in Real Life movie that was out? I wanted to see that. Not sure it is still out, may have to rent it.

it's weird, i heard a lot ABOUT golden compass but havent actually heard anyone say if it was good or not... i actually dont even know anyone who saw it! lol but i want to know too! it's not often i can drage hubby to a movie so when i do manage it i try to sneak in a romantic comedy hehehe

I haven't seen it, but I read all of the books and they were WONDERFUL. I have heard that a lot of religious organizations are asking their members to avoid seeing it, but I really don't know why. The books, in my opinion, were not anti-religion at all. Unless they majorly changed the focus for the movie, I doubt that it is all that offensive.
