Photography business advice needed

Hi! I am interested in maybe starting my own photography business in the next few years but no nothing about how to get started, what kind of camera to buy, etc. I am going to sign up for photography classes at my local community college this fall but would really appreciate any advice you have....Flag as inappropriate Posted by Luvnabby on 2nd August 2008 -
I think the best thing to do would be to look up advice on starting a small business. Once you have an idea of all that would entail, then you can browse photography forums and websites (just do a search on Google or Yahoo) for the specifics on the photography business. A great place to start on the small business planning is www.score.org. You can also go to the government-run website, www.sba.gov, for a lot of advice. I am assuming you're from the U.S., so I apologize if you're not, as this probably won't help you in that case!
