  • I have 2 year old triplets and a three year old all boys and I was about to go crazy. I was frustrated with my weight this long after having the babies and totally stressed about doing the same thing everyday (wake up, dress, breakfast, work, come home, screaming kids, dinner, bath, bed, flop on couch...). We joined our local YMCA and now go EVERYDAY! It was only $59 a month with free kidzone and classes so everyone gets a break. The kids get to play with other kids and get out of the house and my husband and I do our own thing for an hour. LIFESAVER!! (Lost 27 lbs so far since Nov.)

  • Always keep a business card in an easy-to-find place in your purse or laptop bag; slip another one into your coat or jacket pocket. If you accidentally leave these things behind while you're out and about -- or if someone takes yours by mistake -- it'll be easier for someone to return them to you!

  • Dear all, I would like to share a little lifesaver with you. My daugther Sonia wakes up very early and usualy comes to wake me up is the morning. So I started to leave in the evening on the kitchen some sandviches and drinks. Also I learned her how to turn on the audiosystem and have bought her children CDs. So now she is not coming on 8 am, she can entertains herself when I get get some Saturdaysleep!

  • Online shopping delivered to my office is a lifesaver. As long as I dont have to try it on, I can order handbags, facial products, or anything else online and it saves TONS of time.

  • Pretty much the only "me time" I get is my lunch 1/2 hour at work. Take that lunch break! You deserve it (and hey, it's legally mandated!) I turn off my "oh, I have SO much work to do" state of mind and grab my book and sit at starbucks or in the parking lot in my car and read/eat. It's really the only time I get to myself until around 10 pm (and that's if the baby goes to bed on time!)

  • Post-its!! I keep packs of them in the van so when we are running around town or out to dinner the kids can use them. I tell them to count how many times they see a red car or stop sign ect.... at dinner i tell them to write as many things down that they see that starts with a certain letter or has a certain color in it! Even if they get bored the end up playing tic tac toe or drawing.

  • Plastic drink cups! I bought a package of them for less than $1, and handed each of my two youngest kids15 cups. They happily stacked them into pyramids, collapsed them into piles, "decorated" them with action figures, and had tons of fun (while I was able to get dinner on the table with no fuss). It's a cheap investment, and perfect for long waits at the doctor's office or restaurants.
