Funny thing. This exact question came up at breakfast. It was my birthday breakfast --a gift from my friend Darralu. For the past 30 years we have both worked as independent consultants. We have had good years. Okay years. And, holding on for dear life years.

Working part time is not an option for either one of us. But we do like to dream about what it would be like to not have to accept every single project that comes our way, to be able to walk away from bad working relationships,and to not worry if a check is not in the mail.

Making money is a big part of my life that I would gladly give up. In that magical situation where money wasn't an issue. I would blog more, podcast more and spend time videocasting.

Oh, and I would work out every day. I would also have someone clean my house twice a week but mostly I would work at what I want to work at. Because my work is fun.

I would do F2F interviews around the world with working women telling their stories on my blog. It couldn't get better than that.
