If you work from home, especially if you have kids, you know just how hectic life can be. You have to find the time to take care of your business, feed the kids, bathe the kids, do homework, laundry, housecleaning, and shopping, which is no easy task. To make this easier for you, you could actually do your shopping online, rather than having to venture out of the home for all of your basic supplies. Being able to shop online makes the lives of work at home parents much easier, believe me, I know!

When it comes to groceries, there are many great merchants who offer online shopping and delivery. For example, at Net Grocer, you can do all of your grocery shopping from home, and then have everything delivered to your door by Fed-Ex, within three to seven business days. Depending on where you live, you will have to pay around $20, or more, for delivery of $100 worth of groceries. But, when you think about the time you have saved by using this method, it may be worth it.

Another great online grocery site is Simon Delivers, provided you live in the delivery area. There are other online grocers who allow you to go online and do your shopping, and then just drive to the store to pick it up. While you still have to leave the house to get your groceries, you don’t have to waste time in the store, trying to get down cluttered aisles and busy checkout lines! Pull up the websites for local grocery stores in your neighborhood, and see if they have an online shopping option!

You can also do your clothing shopping online as well, again, saving you a lot of time spent going from store to store. Oftentimes, you can even save a lot of money by shopping online as well! You can find a lot of great clothing discounts at Clothes & Things, and have your clothing shipped directly to your home in a matter of days. You may also find that many of your favorite clothing stores offer you the option of shopping online, such as the Gap, Old Navy, and Dillards. Do online searches for your favorite stores, look at their websites, and see what your options are. Just be careful to look at the return policies, in case something that you purchase doesn’t fit, or you just don’t like it once you see it in person!

If you have an infant or toddler in the house, odds are you have to purchase baby needs on a regular basis. Diapers, wipes, and toys are all items purchased often. You can also find these items for sale online, and again, have them shipped right to your home, saving time and money. You can find just about everything you might need at Babies R Us. For even more discounts, you can type “discounted baby supplies” in any search engine, and get a whole host of links to sites selling what you are looking for, maybe at a lower price than you are used to getting.
