As working mothers, part of our job requirements is to arm ourselves with time-saving products that help us get through the day a little easier. I’ve scouted out five great products and tools to get the job done. Here they are:

Delegate, delegate!

How many times have you had one task to do and thought “Geez, if I could only hire someone to take this off my plate for me, it would be great.” But where do you go? Do you take an ad out for someone to help you pack for a trip, or put together a set of shelves for you? You think, “Forget it, I’ll just do it myself.” Now there’s a great website that lets you post tasks at the local level and gives others a chance to bid. On the other hand, looking to pick up a little cash on top of your regular salary? Check out what people need help with. Go to Do My Stuff.

Never drag a car seat through an airport again!

Want to bring the kids on your business trip? Guess what—no more hauling the whole darn car seat around the airport. Now there’s a product called CARES harness that attaches to the plane seat and does what a car seat does. One mom that I know has used it and loved it. There’s also great information on their site that tells you how to install it. The Care system is $75 well-spent. So simple you think the airlines would have come up with it. A perfect example of necessity being the mother of invention. Go to Kids Fly Safe.

All in one Nap Pak that makes gathering together nap time items a thing of the past.

This soft and snuggly Nap pak is all one piece, so no more hunting for a clean pillow, sheet, and blankets on the way out the door to daycare. The fleece blanket folds over to create a sheet and blanket and the soft pillow is attached. Just wash and dry when it’s dirty and then it's ready to go. It also has straps that Velcro together to make it a tight roll. $40. To buy, go to Crafty Baby.

Make a seamless switch from boardroom to playground and back.

Now how is this for a diaper bag? And Lala’s Paris Leather diaper/laptop bag holds your laptop too. On top of that, it’s gorgeous and totally in place in a business meeting. Now you don’t have to keep switching bags every time you switch hats. Made from ostrich-embossed leather and loaded with tons of storage compartments, this bag lets you carry your diaper needs and your laptop. It even has a detachable exterior bag that easily converts to a small purse when that’s all you need. The bag retails for $375 and it comes in an assortment of colors including black, light blue, eggplant, lime and raspberry. You can get it at Anna Bean.
