    Just to let you know that Hannukah actually begins the night before - this year the first candle was lit on the night of Wed., Dec. 4th.

  • I try to get ahead of the game by having a few ready-to-eat meals waiting in the freezer, for those post-holiday days when we're sick of leftovers but have no time to cook. Things like Indian curries, lasagna, pulled pork, even pre-marinated steak that I can just throw on the grill (or grill-pan) without having to do much prep work... with all the houseguests coming and going, this ends up being a real life saver for us!

  • what a great list! i would also add that as you receive cards, updat eyour address book to make sure you have the addresses for next year (or scramble for this year!)
