Any of these infractions would be justification for voting an employee off the team. A couple of weeks’ severance and a discussion about COBRA, and you’ve moved passed the incident. With your kids, however, each embarrassing episode is just another set of rapids in the never-ending river of parenting challenges. All the corporate management and HR training in the world isn’t going to help you with your little employee-for-life. You’ve got to learn to hang on and just go with the flow.
