It’s not uncommon to see parents shouting and yelling at their children. Does it work? According to new research, shouting at teens as a disciplinary tactic could make them misbehave more. University of Michigan and University of Pittsburg observed about a thousand families in America and Europe. The parents were asked how frequently they used harsh verbal discipline within the last year, such as yelling, cursing, and verbally humiliating. Have you used verbal discipline?
