Preterm birth is a scary, yet common occurrence. There are a lot of different factors that can cause it. In fact, this recent study shows a new possible cause of preterm delivery: getting pregnant again too quickly. In this study they discuss how getting pregnant again less than a year and a half after your other child increases your risk for preterm delivery. This is dangerous for both mother and child. If you’re planning on having more children, try waiting 18 months before getting pregnant again. However, if you’re already pregnant in less than that time, don’t fret: stress is a much more harmful to your health and your baby’s health than getting pregnant again too quickly!
