Kid-Friendly Sloppy Joes

Any sloppy joe recipe is a big hit for the kids! But, we wanted to make the cleanup easy for us moms by adding a thicker mixture. Your kids will love dinner without any big messes for you. Everyone’s happy! 

Ingredients

- 2 pound lean ground beef

- 1/2 cup onion, chopped

- 1 cup celery, chopped

- 1 can tomato soup

- 1/4 cup ketchup

- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1 tablespoon vinegar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- 8 hamburger buns

Directions

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until brown. Stir to crumble. Add onion and celery. Cover pan. Cook for 5 minutes. Drain any grease. Mix soup, ketchup, sugar, sauce and vinegar into beef mixture. Sprinkle salt and garlic powder. Cook over low heat. Stir frequently until heated. Spoon beef mixture on buns.
