Homemade pretzels are such a classic! In less than thirty minutes, these mini soft pretzels are ready to serve. They make a perfect party appetizer or a quick snack for the kids!
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 package active instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 1/4 cups flour
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Sea salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Dissolve package of yeast in warm water. Whisk for one minute. Mix salt, sugar and flour in a bowl until thickened. Press dough on floured surface until formed into a ball. Cut into 1/4 sections. Roll each dough section into rope and then into a pretzel shape. Mix egg with splash of water. Dip pretzels in egg wash. Place on baking sheet and sprinkle salt. Bake for 15 minutes.
