Since we have the grill out all summer long, it’s time to try out a unique and healthy barbecue recipe! These low fat cheese stuffed turkey burgers gives us a new moist, lean taste that you can't get with a regular hamburger. - 2 pounds lean ground turkey
- 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 cup wheat breadcrumbs
- 4 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 10 tablespoons feta cheese
Mix turkey, lemon juice, wheat breadcrumbs, thyme, salt and pepper. Divide into 10 portions. Split each portion in half and form two equal-sized patties. Place 1 tablespoon of feta cheese between each patty to combine. Turn grill on high. Place patties on grill. Cook for 10 minutes. Flip burgers. Cook for another 10 minutes or until well done.
