Nutella Cake

This Nutella cake is rich and delightful. If you want to take this dessert to the next level, definitely add a ganache or frosting. The consistency is almost brownie-like because it’s so thick and just the right amount of sweet.


  • 5 eggs
  • 9 ounces Nutella
  • Optional: frosting & toppings


  • Grease a 8 x 8 inch pan and line with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Beat the eggs with a hand mixer until they increase in volume and get really fluffy, about 5 minutes. The eggs must be very fluffy for this recipe to turn out correctly.
  • Put the Nutella in a large bowl and microwave for about 20 seconds. Add about a third of the egg mixture in and gently stir. Add in another third and fold in gently with a spatula. Then repeat with the last of the eggs. Pour into the pan and bake for about 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Top with frosting if desired.
