Yesterday, I had a prime networking moment. I was in a small shop and the owner pointed out that it looked like something was falling out of my wallet. I told her that they are bookmarks that poke out - I use them instead of business cards, and gave her one. She asked about my magazine, then we talked web development and I gave her my husband's business card (graphic designer) and talked about what he could do for her business. I closed with inviting her to read my magazine daily and contribute if she felt she had something relevant to say. All in about 3 minutes!
