6.) Memory. Place approximately 20 small items on a tray. These items could follow the theme of your party. If you are having a “princess party,” you could use a crown, wand, glitter, glass slipper, ribbon, jewels, etc. Allow the children about a minute to view what is on the tray, and then hide the tray. Using a pencil and paper, have the children write down what they remember seeing on the tray. Whoever gets the most correct, wins!

  • This is so true! Kids love organized games. Today's parties seem to consist mostly of throwing the kids out in the yard with the bouncer while the adults talk. For my son's last couple of parties we've gotten rid of the bouncer and focused on games such as hot potato, musical chairs, water baloon toss and three-legged races. We gave out silly little statues from the dollar store as prizes. These games are all very basic, easy, and the kids go nuts.
