Luckily, the school where my office is currently located is massive. Luckily, I had several back to back meetings in opposing corners of the building that I had to rush to get to. Luckily, my baby's daycare center is at the total other end of the earth from the parking garage. And thus, the blisters began forming almost immediately. I was wearing just the right shoes to use to kick myself all day long. Needless to say, no moving occured. And I actually drove my car to the daycare center when it was pick up time.
Pathetic? Maybe. Vain? Sure. Another example of how I manage to make crazy crazier? Absolutely. I'd like to say that I'm so wearing my New Balance for the rest of the year, but let's be honest, the exorcise sandals are pretty hip. Even if they do conjure evil spirits, at least I'll be styling.
