Here at Work It, Mom! we like contests. Why? Because in a life of a working mom there is little recognition and if we can add a bit, even in the smallest of ways, we think that’s a good thing. Also, winning is fun and fun is good.

So we’re excited to announce our latest contest:

I Worked It @ Blogher!

Here’s the deal:

Many mom bloggers and members of Work It, Mom! are heading to the Blogher Conference in Chicago today. It should be an exciting few days filled with meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and getting your name and your blog out there. Some of you might be pros at networking, some might hate it worse than going to the dentist. We’d like to encourage all of you to really work it at the conference and to do so, we’ve come up with this contest, called I Worked It @ Blogher!

After you return from the conference, write up a quick blog post about the way you worked it at the conference. Did you manage to meet 100 new bloggers? Get Elizabeth Edwards’ autograph? Collect an inordinate amount of giveaways? Did you wear the most outrageous outfit, do something outrageously funny, creative, or embarrassing? Write about it in whatever way you like and post it on your blog. Bullet points are great. Photos are even better. A short post works just fine.
