Now that my youngest is a toddler, I find that I rarely need to lug around that ginormous diaper bag — the one that was like an extra limb for so long — when I take him out and about. Instead, I toss a couple of diapers and a slim package of wipes into my own bag and buckle him into his carseat. It works but, as I was rummaging through the bag to find a diaper the other day, it occurred to me that there must be a more elegant solution.
Skip*Hop thought of it first. Their Pronto clutch is just big enough to hold the bare diaper-changing necessities, plus a large, wipe-clean changing pad, a plastic case for wipes, and a couple of pockets for your own things. You can slip its loop over your wrist or onto the handle of the stroller, and leave the bulky bags at home. It costs $30 and comes in several colors (a sturdier denim version costs $38) at Skip Hop and other retailers.
