I’ve always wanted to be the kind of mom who has beautiful, well-organized scrapbooks to preserve and show off my daughter’s photos, milestones, cute things she’s said, etc. Thing is, my daughter is four and a half and I’ve yet to even print out any of her photos from years two and up. Oh, and I do write down cute things she says on scraps of paper which I am sure are never going to get lost. Right.
So I was really excited when I met the founder of Keepaboo at a conference a few months back. Think of Keepaboo as an online scrapbook , but one that doesn’t require any artistic talent, takes just minutes to get going, and is easy to keep updated with however little or lots of information about your kids that you want to capture. You can keep one ongoing life book for your kiddo or create special themed books, like say one for those grandparents who keep yelling at you for never sending them enough photos. (My parents? No, they’d never do this.)
What I really liked about Keepaboo from the first demo were the different templates for pages and how easy it was to get started. What I also like is that it’s not guilt-inducing. Meaning, it doesn’t have pre-set pages that you MUST fill in (e.g. How old was your baby when she started talking? Lost her first tooth? Slammed the door in your face?) When you want to capture a memory, photo, milestone, or special occasion, you just create a page for it, even if it’s been months since your last update. Non-guilt inducing things are just fine by me.
So go, check it out , it’s a free affordable luxury!
