After four years of sleeping on a mattress…on the floor, my husband has almost completed the bed he’s building for us. He’s instructed me to buy new bedding and it’s a lot harder than I thought it would be. The bed is a solid, chunky style, stained a dark brown, so I want bedding that goes well with it. My husband made (yes, made) us a brand new kitchen table to replace oval oak table from the seventies that we inherited from his parents when we got married. The new table is rectangular, sturdy, and stained a dark brown - it looks much like the table in the photo, except with a bit more texture to it. The top coat has to cure for a few weeks until we can use it in every day life, so I’ve been spending my time looking for a table runner that will look good on its 8′ length. I think this one from Pottery Barn is the ticket.
