Committed: The Ties that Bond
with Angella Dykstra
I'm a mom of three, a professional accountant, and an amateur photographer and writer. I am not a marriage expert. But my husband and I take "Til death do us part" seriously, and here I'll be sharing how we keep our marriage strong while we both do that insane work-life juggle.
Check out my Work It, Mom! profile and my blog, Dutch Blitz.

While perusing the Internet for relationship articles I came across one originally published in Cosmopolitan magazine titled, “8 Reasons Not To Make A Sex Tape“. The bullet points in the article are pretty funny - if you want a Friday chuckle then I suggest you click on over.(My personal favorite: “Women everywhere will steal your signature moves, including maybe your cubicle mate … or your mom.” Hee.)
There is no chance of me ever making a sex tape because, well, NO. It wouldn’t be prudent. Or pretty. Though I guess they’re not intended to be “pretty”.
Now, I know that you are all classy folks who wouldn’t risk exposing yourself (Ha!) to the fallout that could happen if a video got into the wrong hands. What about sexting, though? My husband has no idea how to text (he also uses a Razr) but if he ever got (somewhat) up to speed with technology, it might be a fun thing to do. I think.
How about you? Do you “sext”? Photos, no photos, flirty/racy texts?

Yes, we sext! But NOT with photos! Just flirty stuff, innuendo, etc. Fun stuff. I love getting flirty texts from my hubby during the day. He often uses song lyrics, which always makes me swoon.
You should totally make Matthew hook up to technology!!

Yep, sexting has been part of our life too! It’s a lot of fun, especially if you are having a bad day at work. Highly recommend it.
As for the whole video thing…up NO! We’ve sadly been broken into a few times…one time the video camera was taken…thankfully/sadly with nothing more than our wedding video.
A Razr? Really? Matthew needs to get up to speed a little, even if it’s just to get a phone with a QWERTY board.
