I could talk about my first kiss EVER but it happened in the middle of a party when I was in ninth grade. I’d had a crush on Stephen for, oh, ever and we were talking and then he leaned in and kissed me and I thought it was so nice and fun and WAIT, I’ve NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE and WHAT IF I’M DOING IT WRONG? I pulled away, turned on my heel and ran home.
I clearly did it wrong.
As for the first kiss between my husband and I, it didn’t happen on our first date. Or our second. OR OUR THIRD. It’s not that we weren’t comfortable with each other - we were holding hands and cuddling on the couch - but all I could think was, “DUDE. STOP BEING SO SHY.” Then my impatience kicked in and I just LEANED IN AND KISSED HIM ALREADY.
We haven’t stopped since.

We were chatting on the couch with a glass of wine & had not ever been on a date yet, although we had been hanging out for a few weeks together. He was gazing at me & kinda looked dreamy & ASKED if he could kiss me! I shyly said yes an that was it!! No one had ever asked me before & I was floored but very pleased

Strangely enough at 29 I had still not been kissed (it’s a long story). So this past Christmas at a party I asked a guy friend if he wanted to make-out with me. He knew that I had never been kissed, so we discussed it for a few minutes. And then, he kissed me, he thoroughly kissed me. It was pretty fun for a first kiss.

With my fiance, we had spent a day at an amusement park and had been flirting heavily with each other all day. We figured a relationship would never work for various reasons so we figured flirting and hanging out would be the end of it. Then when he was dropping me off at my house, he leaned over and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. It wasn’t much, but it kind of blew me away. That was over 6 years ago and I still remember.

First kiss EVER happened in ninth grade while watching one of the original Star Wars movies. So romantic.
First kiss with Noah … I think it happened in my car in his parents’ driveway. Even more romantic.

I don’t actually remember my first kiss EVER. Hmm.
First kiss with the husband happened on a packed dance floor (about half an hour after we first met) while we were both fairly inebriated. Because we’re classy like that.

My first kiss with Sarah was the night I met her in Santa Fe, New Mexico, because we both suffered from the affliction of Big Stupid Ridiculous Secret Crush on Each Other.

Hmm, first kiss ever? About sixth grade…the little brother of the man I eventually married. Kind of awkward.
