I'm a mom of three, a professional accountant, and an amateur photographer and writer. I am not a marriage expert. But my husband and I take "Til death do us part" seriously, and here I'll be sharing how we keep our marriage strong while we both do that insane work-life juggle.
Check out my Work It, Mom! profile and my blog, Dutch Blitz.
My husband shares a few of the habits that her husband has. The one that drives me the most crazy is when I’ll text him and get no response, even though I know that his phone never leaves his side. Or when he’ll ask me something on gChat, I’ll respond and ask him something back and then … crickets. (It’s not a household thing, but it still drives me insane.)
My husband is known for his tendencies to be super clean and tidy. He will make the bed, wipe down all of the kitchen counters after breakfast and put everything away … except for the cereal boxes and the sugar container. Every. Single. Day.
As for me, here are some of the bad habits I have around here:
If I go away, it takes me forever to unpack my suitcase. Case in point: We went to a family camp this past weekend and upon arriving home we emptied the kids’ suitcase, did a load of laundry, and put everything away. My suitcase is on my bedroom floor, being emptied bit by bit whenever I want to wear something that was packed. I don’t even know.
I do a lot of canning and love to see the jars all lined up like soldiers. I must love them so much, because it takes me at least a week to move them down to the cold room.
I tend to get changed in our en suite bathroom, which you would know if you dropped in unannounced, because the last three outfits I wore are in separate piles on the floor.
How about you? Do you and/or your husband have annoying habits?
