with Angella Dykstra
I'm a mom of three, a professional accountant, and an amateur photographer and writer. I am not a marriage expert. But my husband and I take "Til death do us part" seriously, and here I'll be sharing how we keep our marriage strong while we both do that insane work-life juggle.
Check out my Work It, Mom! profile and my blog, Dutch Blitz.

Every once in awhile I’ll ask my husband if there’s any marriage topics I should cover here. This morning I asked him and he quickly responded with ‘Would your husband encourage you to get plastic surgery?’
Um, that was quick. I asked him if he wanted me to get plastic surgery and he had another quick reply for me. “I wouldn’t be offended if you had a breast enhancement.’
And then I killed him.
I’m kidding. He burst into laughter because he’s (a fan of my chest size, and) not a proponent of plastic surgery. He knows that some guys are in favor of ‘enhancement’ and thought it would be something to ask you guys.
Have you had plastic surgery? Would you get it? Would your spouse encourage you to?

I think it depends on what you are having done. I don’t think husband would want to feel fake boobs or an enhanced backside….but who would complain about a little tummy tuck or liposuction to the tummy after a couple of pregnancies?

I hear you on that one. I was one of the lucky ones to get no stretch marks (I KNOW), and no other pregnancy aftermath to my stomach (I KNOW), but I have friends who have, and I know a few who would love to have that done.

I’m scared of my post pregnancy body! Really scared of what it will be. But would I go through with it? Would my husband want me to? I don’t know.

He wouldn’t ask meto but he would support. I definitely will do if I have the money when I decide that I need it!
