I don’t talk about sex, much, in this column, other than to say that my husband and I have it. Regularly. We have three kids, I have been pregnant four times (I miscarried my first baby), so I think it’s pretty safe to assume that all of the babies came to be because of us having sex.

(I’m pretty sure that my children will choose to believe that my husband and I have only had sex four times, despite the innuendos that their Dad likes to throw out to make me laugh and them cringe.)

I’m not one to share the intricate details, because those details aren’t anything that needs to be shared. It wouldn’t honor my husband, it wouldn’t honor me, and it would make many people uncomfortable. I know that many sites like to delve into the details in the name of over-sharing and (probably) page hits, but that’s not why I’m here. I’m doing my best to share what I’ve learned, or what other people have learned, about how to make a committed relationship work. Sex is just one part of the dynamic.

(Sex is a great thing, and helps to connect you as a couple. So on and so forth.)

(For the record: Married people have sex. Well, they should. Because it’s fun!)

I’ve come to the point where I’m at my limit for typing ’sex’ and need to stop. My husband is a pastor, half of the church reads my site and I need to be able to look them in the eye on Sunday.
