I'm Leah--wife, mother, editor, writer, photographer, and rickrack apologist. There's craftiness in my DNA, but between the kids and my work and the house and the television and my blogs (http://www.agirlandaboy and http://www.workitmom.com/bloggers/workingonmotherhood, among others), I have to keep my projects quick and easy if I hope to finish them before my boys (born December 2008 and July 2012) graduate from college. You're a working mom and you're busy too, but if you still want to get your craft on, join me here for some fun projects!
Spring is coming, ready or not. (But I think we’re all ready, aren’t we?) Here are some fun showers and flowers projects to welcome my favorite time of year.
I love this colorful spring branch from Inner Child Fun. You could also do this on a real branch and display it in a vase.
These pretty paper flowers from the Seasoned Mom make a great bouquet, and great use of all those cute cupcake liners I can’t stop buying.
Make your own rain stick. What a cool idea! (From In Lieu of Preschool)
Daffodils are always the first spring flowers to bloom around here. These are adorable. (From Baby Centre UK)
Cotton ball rain clouds three ways:
With sew-on raindrops, from Stacy Vaughn (great for honing those fine motor skills)
With a yarn rainbow from Daisy Cottage Designs
And a combination: rainbow-colored raindrops (uncredited and untrackdownable on Pinterest)
And if you have the time, these 3D raindrops from Mini Eco really kick things up a notch.
Bring on Spring!
