I'm Leah--wife, mother, editor, writer, photographer, and rickrack apologist. There's craftiness in my DNA, but between the kids and my work and the house and the television and my blogs (http://www.agirlandaboy and http://www.workitmom.com/bloggers/workingonmotherhood, among others), I have to keep my projects quick and easy if I hope to finish them before my boys (born December 2008 and July 2012) graduate from college. You're a working mom and you're busy too, but if you still want to get your craft on, join me here for some fun projects!
Do you always forget about St. Patrick’s Day until oops, it’s here? Yeah, me too. Here are five simple last-minute crafts you can do with or for your family to celebrate, just in the nick of time.

I made some of these last year and turned them into pins. (This is a perfect use for leftover felt if you made the easy felt trees for Christmas.)
You know how I love rainbows.

It’s easier than it looks. Oh, to have a little girl!
Use green peppers to stamp shamrocks onto craft paper for a St. Patty’s dinner tablecloth.

And of course there’s still time to make a rainbow ribbon windcatcher too.
And while I have your attention, Easter’s early this year (March 31, in two and a half weeks!), so here are some ideas if you want to get a jumpstart on that.
I LOVE this idea and am going to steal and modify for all the holidays forever and ever.

I’ve always wanted to make these. (The easy version, for sure.) Maybe this year’s the year?
