Plus, decorative pillows are an easy way to get festive for the holidays, and if you make them yourself, they don’t even have to cost $50 like they do in all the catalogs. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, where it snows maybe once every twenty years, but I grew up in Utah, home of the Greatest Snow on Earth, so perhaps that explains why I’m obsessed with snow globes. They usually come and go with our Christmas decorations, but this year I decided to make some generic “winter” ones that I can keep on display until spring.
