Cute raingear for kids

Fall is officially here, and at least for those of us living in the Pacific Northwest, that means a lot of wet weather between now and next summer. A WHOLE LOT. *sob*

It’s easier to focus on adorable kid-themed rain-gear than it is to contemplate nine solid months of grey skies, so let’s get to it: cute stuff that keeps your child dry.

How adorable is this frog raincoat? Riley had this when he was younger, although he wasn’t always a big fan of wearing it.

Dude, PIRATE-THEMED BOOTS. With matching umbrella, even.

Dinosaur umbrella! With SPINES.

Hooded polka-dot coat that might just be cheery enough to overlook the fact that it’s raining AGAIN OMG.

I love these airplane boots. And hey, as long as I’m poking around Zappos, how incredible are these adult rain boots? Or these? Wow, when did rubber boots get so awesome?

This is a lovely girl’s raincoat, with red stitching and details and a zip off hood.

I like the red elbows and big pockets on this sturdy little boy’s coat.

Hello, I want this frog umbrella for myself. Ditto this spiffy striped one.

  • You are almost making me wish it rained a lot here. Almost.
