This Saturday will be the first day of autumn. This puts me in the mood for hot drinks, and for down-filled blankets it’s still not cold enough to use, and for LEAF COLORS.
Le Creuset salt and pepper shakers in Flame (photo from Amazon.com).
Reversible Damask/Polkadot Lumbar Pillow (photo from Amazon.com). The price seems high for a single pillow, but it is a very pretty pillow.
Fiesta dishes in Tangerine (photo from Amazon.com). I wish I liked the shapes of Fiesta dishes more, because the mixing-colors idea appeals ENORMOUSLY.
Fall leaves travel mug (photo from Amazon.com). Wait, you DON’T coordinate your travel mug to the seasons? …Well, me neither. But if I had a lot more cupboard space, I might.
Felt napkin rings (photo from Amazon.com) are not very sensible (stains, storage/squashing issues), but they are very pretty. And this gives me a craft idea for not-intended-to-be-durable napkin rings kids could make.
This is more like what I’d buy, assuming those are metal: Autumn Leaves napkin rings (photo from Amazon.com).
Stoneware Maple Leaf Candy Dish with Bird (photo from Amazon.com). I have this! I found it at HomeGoods in more like the $5-7 range, and I use it for miscellaneous bureau-top stuff: a few coins, a few ponytail holders, a stray earring backing.
Oak, Elm, and Ash Leaves print (photo from Art.com). I’m not sure if this would be better in a rough-looking wood frame or in an antique gilt frame.
