I am sure for now all of you making Thanksgiving dinner have it all planned out and ready to go.
For the rest of us, here are some last-minute ideas for side dishes, appetizers and desserts.
Ordering Disorder: Baked sweet potato fries. Pure heaven in 20 minutes is how I would describe the result of making this recipe. And not because we simply adore Chris and Ordering Disorder.
what we’re eating: White bean and ham soup. I love serving soup for Thanksgiving, especially when the day is chilli, as it promises to be this year, at least in the Northeast.
modern beet: Creamed swiss chard with bacon. Sorry my vegetarian friends, but what dish isn’t made better with bacon?
Prudence Pennywise: Whole grain pasta with sweet red pepper and feta.
cafemom: One-pot chilli.
Barefoot Contessa: Moroccan couscous. As the owner of every Barefoot Contessa cookbook I can tell you that her recipes don’t miss. Especially this one, which I made last night, and which was quick, made the kitchen smell wonderful, and tasted great for everyone including my quite picky daughter.
cookthink: Apple crisp. Need I say more?
