Turkey Quinoa Meatballs

This Turkey Quinoa Meatballs recipe is deliciously healthy and something your whole family will love! The quinoa is an excellent source of fiber and the lean turkey adds a much needed protein kick.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 pound of lean ground turkey meat
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • ¾ cup of quinoa (cooked)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup of red onion (diced)
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • ¼ cup of parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons of basils (chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon of salt and two cups of tomato sauce
  • Extra parsley or some lettuce (optional)


1. Set your oven to around 350°F

2. Apply cooking spray to a baking sheet

3. Mix the meat, egg, spices and the other ingredients into a bowl

4. Roll the mixture into 1 inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet

5. Bake them in the preheated oven for around half an hour

6. Heat the two cups of tomato sauce in a saucepan while the meatballs are in the oven

7. Put the turkey meatballs in once and add some extra parsley or some lettuce leaves (optional)

Enjoy this recipe with a side of pasta and a side salad for a well-rounded and delicious meal!
