Oh, how I’ve been waiting for this time to arrive. Fall is almost here! (Did you catch that, summer? It’s time for your oppressive humidity and ridiculous temperatures to GO AWAY.) Honestly, how can you even think about layers and new silhouettes and fabulous accessories when you are sweating like a pig in nothing but a wife beater and Bermuda shorts?
(I’m sorry. I’m bitter. AND impatient. AND live in Southern California, where we have two seasons, Beautiful and August/September Hellfire.)
With the upcoming cooler season, it is the perfect time to re-introduce our Working Closet Flickr pool. What better way to show off your daily style? Beyond inspiring others, our Flickr pool is the perfect way to come up with new ideas for your wardrobe.
Look at all of these beautiful women.
Do you feel the fashion inspiration brimming? I certainly do.
Wait a second. I sense some of you aren’t completely convinced. Allow me to share a few more reasons to join our Flickr pool.
1. Did I mention the inspiration you will experience?
2. The pool will motivate you to look your best, instead of wearing those coffee-stained yoga pants. AGAIN.
3. We can share all sorts of fashion ideas and tips with one another.
4. It’s a chance to be part of a fabulous group of fashionistas.
5. If you are motivated by prizes, this year will include themes and contests!
Now, in the interest of fairness (it IS an election year after all), I must inform you of the one major reason to not join the pool.
1. To prove to the internet that you really are a huge party pooper.
There you go! Sarah’s absolutely non-biased rationale! Grab your camera, sign up for a Flickr account (if you don’t already have one) and join our pool here. We’ll be looking for you.

Are pregnant ladies allowed? My wardrobe will be limited and at-homey, but still. Will stop me from becoming slovenly.
Are you kidding me? Of course!

I submitted a pic as soon as I saw the link! I’m new to this, but it sounds like so much fun as I love all things fashion related.

What do you wear with this totally cute jacket? Would you leave it on with your outfit or only wear it as outerwear?

Oh, it’s funny you bring this jacket up today because I’m returning it this morning. Not because it isn’t cute (it is SO CUTE), but once again, J. Crew has wooed me with their version. I love the pleating in the back, and I feel it would get a lot more wear opposed to the Old Navy one.

However, I would wear the Old Navy jacket as part of an outfit. For me, I would pair with with dark denim jeans, a neutral tank (white or dark) and some flats. Are you looking for ways to wear it in a more formal occasion?

OMG! I *love* you, Whoorl! I SO adore that J.Crew jacket more. Thanks for the heads up! I’m so glad I posted my question as I was not going to, else I may have missed the J.Crew tip-off. xoxo to you!

I second the limited maternity wardrobe. Only 5 weeks to go. Wow, I can’t wait until I get my clothes back. We’ll see how long that takes. But I’m in. I love the Flickr pool.

Look! My photo made it into your post! I am so honored! I love this pool!

I just joined the group but don’t have my camera with me (wouldn’t want you to see what I’m wearing today, anyway!)
You guys are all very well-dressed! I feel like I’m going to have to step it up — especially in the SHOES department (har, har, step it up). Good thing I was planning to shop this weekend, anyway!
