Thanks for the accessory submissions - from my vantage point, the participants did a fantastic job of adding a little spice to their ensembles. Now, if you are still looking for the perfect fall accessory, Instyle Magazine lists their top 4 trends in their Fall Accessories Report.
1. Modern Boho - fringed scarves and totes, geometric necklaces, resin cuffs, ankle boots.
2. Edgy Hipster - fedoras, bright scarves, stilettos, purses embellished with metal.
3. Roaring Twenties - feathered purses and headbands, art deco earrings, delicate crystal jewelry, hairpins, mesh purses.
4. Chalet Chic - shearling boots, ribbed wool scarves, fur hats and bags (faux!).
That should give you some food for thought. Now, on with the contest!
I’ve narrowed the contest submissions to three contestants, and now it’s your turn to decide who will be the deserving winner of the Free People scarf.
Contestant #1 - Metalia
Metalia rocks a colorful bracelet and feather headband that she made herself. (Gorgeous AND crafty, that one.) Very Twenties-inspired, don’t you think?
Contestant #2 - Sharina
Sharina’s use of a headband, bright red necklace and black tights creates a chic ensemble in my book. I especially love that she is perched oh so precariously on a toilet.
Contestant #3 - Anonymous New York
Both of Anonymous New York’s submissions were great, but the gold jewelry and dark brown belt in this one perfectly accented her brown tweed suit. Very stylish!
What do you think?

I love Metalia’s entire outfit!
But especially that headband. She should start selling these things.
