Welcome to the holidays! Tis the season to try and squeeze into that great dress you bought a few years (and a few pounds) ago and spend some time with friends. You know what would make the holidays even better? If you felt really super great in that dress.
I can help! Ho ho ho!
To help you look and feel your best for all your holiday parties, we’re giving away two Yummie Tummie Undercover Tanks to two lucky readers, just in time for holiday party season. I am a devoted Yummie Tummie enthusiast; after my last baby was born (seven years ago, you all!) my stomach hung on to that little doughy roll under my belly button. Yummie Tummie’s tanks are substantial enough to hold my stomach in but light-weight enough to be comfortable all day.
Yummie Tummie’s tanks come in two lengths; the regular (pictured above on the left) hits at the high hip. Both tanks can be tucked in or worn untucked (I tuck mine in for a slimmer line). The Undercover Tank is designed to be worn as a layering piece or on its own, which makes it the most versatile piece you will ever own.
Think of it as a magical tank top!
The Yummie Tummie Undercover Tank is available in sizes XS to XL, in regular and long. You’ll wear it with everything. I promise.
To enter, leave a comment on this post — tell me what you’re getting spiffed up for this holiday season. Fancy party, office happy hour, cookies with the neighbors — doesn’t matter where you’re going! Because I know you’ll be wearing something fun and festive, right?
Right.
Now let’s hear about it. Contest ends at midnight EST on Thursday, December 17; winners will be announced on Friday morning.
The fine print: Winners will be chosen totally at random from the comments on this post (although it doesn’t hurt if your comment is entertaining!). US residents only, though — sorry, Canadian friends.

Might just get spiffed up for my hubby who turns 40 on New Year’s Eve.
Danielle | December 11th, 2009 at 8:22 am
My husband’s work party, though I don’t know yet if it’s super-fancy. He has only been working there two months. I keep asking him to find out if it’s dressy, but he so far hasn’t yet. My work party was canceled because of the economy, so I really hope his is at least a little fancy or else I’ll have nothing to really dress up for this season. I live in the midwest where generally we don’t dress up for much.
KAte | December 11th, 2009 at 8:25 am
I have a holiday party in 1 hour! And another this evening! Yeah!
Tara | December 11th, 2009 at 8:25 am
Oh, I love the name Yummie Tummie….so perfect! I am hoping to look spiffy at a fabulous neighborhood party.
Kathy | December 11th, 2009 at 8:28 am
I’m going on lots of interviews!
Eva | December 11th, 2009 at 8:31 am
Tamale Party! Yay!
Celeste | December 11th, 2009 at 8:36 am
Hoo boy, could I use one of those. I am attending a fancy-schmancy party of very wealthy friends. The kind with caterers and waiters circulating with appetizers and drinks and people taking your coat as you come in. Intimidating!!!
lisak | December 11th, 2009 at 8:40 am
I have no Holiday parties this year! Crazy, huh?
divrchk | December 11th, 2009 at 8:42 am
i am DYING for a yummie tummie tank. dying. I always wear tanks under my shirts and sweaters. Always. and one that sucks in my gut?? um, awesome!
my parents make a huge HUGE christmas eve party. It will force me to get fancy. heh.
ali | December 11th, 2009 at 8:43 am
I think the only thing (besides church) I’m spiffing up for this holiday is Christmas Eve with my in-laws. It’s quite a fancy little deal!
Darla | December 11th, 2009 at 8:47 am
If I don’t get (at least) one of these for Christmas, I am buying one for myself. This looks like a lifesaver.
Nikki | December 11th, 2009 at 8:48 am
I don’t have any more “dress-up” parties to attend this season, but tomorrow night I”ll be going to a Christmas Pajama Cocktail party. I’ll be enjoying yummy goodies and wine with a fabulous group of women, and wearing my Rudolph the Reindeer jammies and fuzzy socks. What’s better than that?
Danielle Walker | December 11th, 2009 at 8:55 am
My most momentous occasion this holiday season is the renewal of our vows in a wedding ceremony for friends and family. I’ll be wearing my Very Special Dress, but unfortunately, the medication I’m currently taking (both for birth control and for sinus issues) has halted post-baby weight loss completely and I’m uncomfortable in my skin these days.
I’ve been coveting one of these tanks for ages, but the price is a little too steep for us right now. So, here’s crossing my fingers that I’m a lucky winner. It’ll go perfect under my Very Special Dress for the renewal ceremony and after-party.
Phe | December 11th, 2009 at 8:56 am
I’m getting dolled up for my boss’s Christmas party, which will feature a well-known ’80s DJ and a margarita station. Yesssss….
Heather | December 11th, 2009 at 9:02 am
I actually can’t even wear one of these this holiday season as I am 8 months pregnant. But I could really use of those this coming spring!
beanery | December 11th, 2009 at 9:13 am
I’ll be all spiffed up while I try to slow down and enjoy the holiday…for a change!
Bridget | December 11th, 2009 at 9:14 am
I definitely need this after the holidays!
Fabs | December 11th, 2009 at 9:32 am
Lots of singing going on during the holidays, so I have to get spiffed up for all the concerts.
Thanks, Susan!
Mandee | December 11th, 2009 at 9:39 am
It’s essential that I win one of these because every day is a party at my house.
Melanie Nelson | December 11th, 2009 at 9:41 am
I have to stand in front of the whole church and deliver an Advent reading. Does that count?
New baby + the TWO pieces of cake I ate after lunch today aren’t helping. I think I’ll take 6 of those tanks.
Melissa D | December 11th, 2009 at 9:50 am
LAN Party! (With Eggnog/cookies)
Going to get my Left 4 Dead 2 on.
Sondra | December 11th, 2009 at 10:04 am
I have an office party soon and I always dress up on Christmas Day. One side of the family is always dressed up and the other well, we are lucky if they are out of their pj’s!
Christine | December 11th, 2009 at 10:04 am
No parties this year, but I am all decked out today for my debut at a craft fair! This seems hilarious to me.
Caitlin | December 11th, 2009 at 10:08 am
Well, I left a comment on your office-party post about the great dress I’d be wearing to my fancy-schmancy office party–which was cancelled due to bad weather. So now the fanciest thing I’ll be attending is my husband’s casual-festive faculty party.
Lar | December 11th, 2009 at 10:09 am
Holiday’s are special.. this year.. its multiple parties.. a house party where i am hosting, two office parties… and a lovely winter party and my daughter’s day care… Happily and sadly.. all occasions means different attires… one needs comfort while hosting.. two need.. borderline sexy.. and not too sexy… and one needs a fab mom on the go look!
Hehe
All should go well.. minus the lovely flibby flab!
GNSD | December 11th, 2009 at 10:11 am
I have never tried yummie tummy tanks. If they could make me look not-pregnant when I try to wear tunic tops, I would LOVE it.
For holiday parties, I’m not buying anything new this year. I’m spiffing up my basic blacks with some sparkly costume jewelry. For a party I’m going to tomorrow, I think I’ll pull out a red silk wrap blouse I’ve had for years and rarely wear because it seems too red for anything but a party. Now I’m kind of excited about it. Thanks!
rb | December 11th, 2009 at 10:18 am
What a great contest!
I was just at a birthday party for a 40-year old friend and lo and behold, some of the women had never heard of shapewear! For shame.
Lauren in CA | December 11th, 2009 at 10:31 am
Who doesn’t wish for a flatter stomach for Christmas?
Suzie | December 11th, 2009 at 10:42 am
Two c-sections left a nice little scar and a little blurb of tummy drooping over it like melting frosting. Not the greatest look under a dress! I’ve tried many other options but they always feel more “girdle” than sexy! This looks like it just might be the ticket!
Adelle | December 11th, 2009 at 10:56 am
I will be dressing up for the Christmas Eve service at my inlaw’s church and I am still deciding what to wear. This Yummie Tummie tank would be helpful with any outfit!
Meaghan | December 11th, 2009 at 10:59 am
While we already had hubby’s work party, & I’m a SAHM, so no work party of my own, we’ll still be getting spiffied up for church on Christmas eve with the in-laws here.
Plus, my husband’s birthday is coming up before the end of the month, so I’m thinking it’d work great for sexy-date-night!
Ms. Huis Herself | December 11th, 2009 at 11:05 am
After having three kids in three years I have really been wanting to try these. It would be perfect for my husbands company party.
Leah | December 11th, 2009 at 11:19 am
First holiday party tomorrow night! Can’t wait to see all the girls!
Kristen | December 11th, 2009 at 11:25 am
I’ll be spiffing up for Christmas Eve with my fiance’s family, and then once more for New Year’s Eve. Not sure what we’re doing yet, but we like to dress up a bit to usher in the new year.
Abby B. | December 11th, 2009 at 11:28 am
Work party, party with friends, party with family, you name it. I can use this!
anna | December 11th, 2009 at 11:53 am
You don’t need no stinkin’ occassion to wear a YummieTummie. I’d have that sucker on every day, just ’cause.
But seriously, my work party was last week, so the fancy-schmancy party stuff is over, now it’s just about looking good at smaller, more intimate get togethers.
Tela | December 11th, 2009 at 11:59 am
I have two red carpet affairs, a couple of movie openings, some gala’s of one sort….oh who am I kidding, but I do have a couple of festive gatherings with friends that will be no doubt awesomer…if I had a yummie tummie.
Angi Schertz | December 11th, 2009 at 12:07 pm
I don’t have many opportunities to dress up. So when I have an excuse, like the office holiday party, I would love not having to think about my baby belly!
mere | December 11th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
spiffed up for my parents arrival for the holidays, my daughter’s eighth birthday and new years with lots of friends! yay!
elaine | December 11th, 2009 at 12:54 pm
I soooo need one of these! I have a 9 month old baby and that whole 9 months on, 9 months off thing hasn’t quite worked out the way I wanted it to.
I’ve got to get dressed up for the husband’s office party AND for a cocktail/ apps thing that some friends are throwing. Worst part is that the hostess also works with husband, so there will be crossover- I need *two* fab things to wear!
Jenn | December 11th, 2009 at 2:01 pm
I need the Yummie Tummie tank to wear to my church’s Christmas program. I’m the director and everyone knows that no one will be looking at the little kids dressed in their Christmas best—they’ll be looking at me, of course!
Kimberlee J. | December 11th, 2009 at 2:03 pm
we’re going to our annual holiday get-together with our friends.
lise | December 11th, 2009 at 2:14 pm
We don’t have an office party, so the closest I’ll come will be the Christmas musical at our church this Sunday. I’m wearing a dress that looks like this one except mine is purple!
Alison | December 11th, 2009 at 2:19 pm
not much spiffing up this year. i’ll be getting dressed up for church on christmas eve, but no holiday parties this year for me or dh!!
Jaime | December 11th, 2009 at 2:29 pm
I wear a tank under every shirt I own…it would be great if it actually helped suck in the leftover baby pooch!
Our work-holiday party got CANCELLED this year…so I guess I would just wear it to the family fondue night on Christmas Eve!
danielle | December 11th, 2009 at 3:14 pm
New Year’s Eve will be our dress up night. A dinner out with friends!
Brooke | December 11th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
Oooh this would be so nice to have under holiday dresses.
Kaleigha | December 11th, 2009 at 6:02 pm
I would love to win one of these!
Rebecca | December 11th, 2009 at 6:33 pm
I’ll be seeing a bunch of grade school friends at a reunion/Christmas party and I need to suck it in for my holiday outfit! I want them to see some semblance of the kid I used to be…already got my highlights. Bring on The Yummie Tummie!
Cincy | December 11th, 2009 at 6:40 pm
I have a 14mo and I NEED a yummy tummie tank! I’m gonna try and spiff up a couple of times–a friend’s Christmas Party and also Christmas Eve.
Amanda | December 11th, 2009 at 7:26 pm
No party this year, just spending time with the family at home!
Michelle Nichols | December 11th, 2009 at 7:27 pm
I would love this! I had my 2nd baby 8 months ago and I definitely have the extra squishiness in my tummy that I’d love to smooth out!
Jen C | December 11th, 2009 at 9:14 pm
That looks like a cool invention! I want one
Meera | December 11th, 2009 at 11:19 pm
I’ll be dressing up for Christmas Eve with the in-laws. They’re very German and very formal.
Heather | December 12th, 2009 at 4:45 am
No fancy parties for us this year (or any year!). I’ll be getting dressed up only for Christmas Eve services.
Mama Bear | December 12th, 2009 at 7:42 am
Oooh, I’ve been wanting these since you first posted about them!
This holiday season, I will be getting spiffed up to go on a date with my husband. He’s working out-of-state right now but will be home for Christmas, so I can’t wait! Thanks!
Claire H. | December 12th, 2009 at 10:58 am
I’m getting spiffed up for an office Christmas party.
Jeanne | December 12th, 2009 at 12:00 pm
Going out with my coworkers for the holiday.
Alyssa | December 12th, 2009 at 12:29 pm
We had one holiday dinner last night - too late for help from Yummie Tummy for that one! One more next weekend, and then a 3-day, 4-meal extravaganza starting Christmas Eve. I’m sure I’ll be needing something to help me not burst out of my clothes by then! I have no idea what I’m going to be wearing yet. I’ve been shopping my closet, and coming up empty so far.
emily | December 12th, 2009 at 12:42 pm
I wore some cute jeans and boots, with a fring-y scarf to a party this morning. It was casual, but I felt nice
Janssen | December 12th, 2009 at 12:54 pm
My engagement party!!
Jenny | December 12th, 2009 at 1:13 pm
I have multiple holiday parties this year, and a co-worker is retiring after 31 yrs! I would love to try a yummie tummie, ever since my C-section- clothes just don’t fit the same!
C | December 12th, 2009 at 2:25 pm
Oh yes. Please. Yep!
redemma | December 12th, 2009 at 4:18 pm
Company party in Philadelphia… ugh.
Keix | December 12th, 2009 at 9:53 pm
I’m attending a Pray for Snow party (8 months pregnant) where everyone wears ugly Christmas sweaters and watches Out Cold.
amber | December 12th, 2009 at 10:50 pm
My husband work party!
Corey | December 13th, 2009 at 6:20 am
Hey! I have no fancy parties either and I totally need one of those tank tops for my office-casual potluck!
Grace | December 13th, 2009 at 6:20 am
I am getting dressed up to go visit family eepp! I’ve joined weight watchers which has really helped, but I still have a little farther to go.
Emily | December 13th, 2009 at 6:56 am
i will be celebrating the holidays with work holiday parties, family tamale making gatherings, and my sister is coming to town for new years! needless to say i need one of these!!
Sonia | December 13th, 2009 at 9:20 am
The Nutcracker. And hopefully Wicked. No parties, just plays!
Angela | December 13th, 2009 at 9:54 am
my baby is turning 19 and I still don’t have my body back. Maybe the Yummy tummy can help me.
Shawn | December 13th, 2009 at 12:10 pm
I’m hoping to find something fun to do on New Year’s Eve and get dressed up for.
Betsy | December 13th, 2009 at 5:02 pm
i’ll be getting all spiffy for several work parties, and a christmas party with friends. haven’t had kids yet, but this pre-holidays belly could sure use some structure! i only have so many jackets.
love this site- thanks for telling us about this promotion.
shannon | December 13th, 2009 at 8:00 pm
Ohhh I have been coveting one of these. I need to get spiffed up for my Girls Night Post-Christmas Wrap-Up.
Sue @ Laundry for Six | December 13th, 2009 at 9:07 pm
Oooh! I’d love this - I’ve read such great reviews, I’d like to try it out.
We just had our holiday open house and all that I have left to celebrate is an Ugly Holiday sweater party and then a latke party!
Kat | December 13th, 2009 at 9:56 pm
Our families are pretty casual, but I still like getting dressed up for Xmas dinner, even if withing five minutes I will have grubby little toddler handprints all over me!
Chic Mummy | December 14th, 2009 at 1:14 am
They did away with the work Christmas party, so it’s just family and nieghborhood parties for me.
I can’t believe I’ve never seen these before - definitely looks promising!
Seana | December 14th, 2009 at 5:15 am
This Christmas, I have been invited to two bowling parties and TWO ugly Christmas sweater parties. So, I guess I’m getting spiffed up for those. Sheesh.
Rhi | December 14th, 2009 at 6:23 am
I’ve always wanted to try the Yummie Tummie tanks! I’ll be going to three fun parties this holiday season, all involving small children, families, and no doubt loads of cookies and chaos. I’ll need all the help I can get to look pulled together amidst the kid craziness.
Shannon | December 14th, 2009 at 6:33 am
I’ll be hanging with family mostly. And driving a lot.
Keryn | December 14th, 2009 at 6:59 am
I need one of these so bad. The post triplets tummy is not so uh, yummy. I would wear it whenever I wasn’t wearing jeans.
kimblahg | December 14th, 2009 at 7:13 am
I LURVE my Yummy Tummy tanks, cami’s, etc… I have tons of them, but they are getting old and I could seriously use some new ones!!
Seems like the only thing I get spiffed up for anymore is going to help out at the kids preschool Christmas party!! Yippee!!!!
allison | December 14th, 2009 at 7:15 am
Had to dress up for my husband’s office party last week. Yuck. It was me and the skinny girls whose husbands invested in their boob jobs and lipo. No, I’m not bitter.
Kate | December 14th, 2009 at 7:25 am
Already had to get spiffy for my boyfriend’s high school reunion - an office warming party - and of course Christmas with the extended family!
Sarah P | December 14th, 2009 at 7:30 am
No Christmas parties on the docket but who says you need to get spiffed up to quell a raging muffin top. My t-shirts would appreciate the streamline effect.
dee | December 14th, 2009 at 7:34 am
Though my boyfriend hasn’t talked much about it, I apparently have big plans for New Years - plans that involve staying out late and celebrating with his friends. If that doesn’t require some kind of gussying up (some of these people haven’t met me yet), then my trip to Virginia next weekend might. A lot of my friends have started talking about various parties, so I’m sure SOMETHING will happen that would make me appreciate a Yummie Tummie tank.
Aisha | December 14th, 2009 at 8:09 am
I’ll be in Reno for New Year’s Eve — I figure that’s the perfect place to have a lot of fun with my outfit! I’ve got the evening gown, the stilettos, and the sparkly fake eyelashes, now all I need is the rockin’ bod
Meg | December 14th, 2009 at 8:12 am
Oooh, pick me! I don’t have any parties to go to, but I’d wear it every day…
KC | December 14th, 2009 at 8:50 am
My whole family is coming out for Christmas this year, so I need to look good! And with a 4 year old and a 16 month old, my tummy needs a bit of help…
Jen | December 14th, 2009 at 9:06 am
I have a new job this year and the extravagant parties of previous years are out the window. This means that our big holiday events will be a couple of house parties - for which I plan to be totally overdressed (LBD, sparkly shoes, etc.) since it’s my only chance! I love the idea of the YT top for every day since I’m always wearing a camisole or tank top anyway!
Katelar | December 14th, 2009 at 9:30 am
I wear camis pretty much everyday so the fact that it helps “suck it all in” is an added bonus!!
Ashley | December 14th, 2009 at 9:33 am
I think this is going on my Christmas list, pronto! Sadly, the one Christmas party that wasn’t cancelled this year is already past, so the girls and I are having our own dress-up cocktail night on the town this week!
JennyM | December 14th, 2009 at 11:17 am
I’m getting spiffed up for a New Year’s eve party. Woo!
Wendy | December 14th, 2009 at 12:09 pm
I? I am staying home. A small office party in January, but nothing fancy. I just want to have it for the yearly date night with my husband. I want to be all, “LOOKIE! My tummy before the baby!”
Amber Mc | December 14th, 2009 at 12:11 pm
I’m actually not this year. I’m 8 months prego, so this would come in handy in the next couple of months for sure!
Melissa | December 14th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
We’re hosting a new year’s party!! It will be fun and I’ll definitely feel less stressed if I feel like I look good.
birdie | December 14th, 2009 at 2:40 pm
I would love one of these! I have no holiday parties to attend this year, but I did attend a Hanukkah party this past Saturday (and I am not Jewish, just supporting a good friend who is). It was a lot of fun and made me wish I had more parties for which to get dressed up.
Amy | December 14th, 2009 at 4:28 pm
I’ve got two parties out of the way and one to go. I’ve just been wearing a red sweater and nice jeans. If it were a dressier occasion I’d swap the jeans for a swingy black skirt.
Jenn | December 15th, 2009 at 6:28 am
Would love one of these! I am 20 wks pregnant with baby #2 so my tummy doesn’t feel so yummy these days! This would be fantastic!
Christina | December 15th, 2009 at 7:59 am
No Christmas parties for me this year, but I would LOVE to have a Yummie Tummie tank for after my second baby’s born in a couple months - I have a feeling that tummy roll won’t be budging much this time around!
Samantha | December 15th, 2009 at 9:21 am
I’d love one of these tanks! I need it to feel trimmer around my husband’s super-fit family at all of their Christmas parties. How those people eat so much and stay so slim, I’ll never know! Maybe they’re all wearing yummie tummie tanks?
Kelly | December 15th, 2009 at 11:19 am
I’m having a not so spiffy quite holiday this year. My daughter is with her dad and my stepson is with his mom. I am starting a new job immediatly after the holidays though and look forward to some post holiday work spiff soon!
Susanna | December 15th, 2009 at 11:48 am
I will be dressing up for Christmas Eve and Day with my family. It is always so much fun to dress up! The tanks sound awesome!
Alicia | December 15th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
still looking for something to be fancy for… maybe just be extra festive for work..
jessica | December 15th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
Very cool giveaway…I’ve been a fan of Hanes Smoothers, but I’m really diggin’ the tank! Nothin’ in particular comin’ up, but it always helps to be prepared!!
cat | December 15th, 2009 at 11:06 pm
Oh I’ve been eyeing these tanks for so long! I think the spiffiest I’ll be getting for the holidays will be a cookie party that requires “Fesive” dress!
Stephanie | December 16th, 2009 at 5:47 am
I AM ABOUT TO HAVE MY (FIRST) BABY NEXT YEAR JANUARY, THE YUMMIE TUMMIE WILL DEFINETLY BE MY WARDROBE BFF FOR THE MONTHS FOLLOWING…ITS LOOKS LIKE A DEFINITE WARDROBE STAPLE FOR ALL WOMEN!!
CHRISSYK | December 16th, 2009 at 8:33 am
Going to my boyfriend’s house for Christmas and I’m hoping to look spiffy for the extended family holiday dinner!
Corinna | December 16th, 2009 at 9:50 am
It’s too late for the company Christmas party, but I’d still have time to look spiffy for the New Year’s Eve party. (Also to enable me to wear that new sweater dress to work, despite having had a few too many cookies already this year).
Sunski | December 16th, 2009 at 10:10 am
I’m taking my 3 lovely daughters to the Nutcracker 2 days before Christmas. Finding time for me to shop for myself is going to be very tough - I’m working all weekend (I’m a nurse) and still have a lot of shopping to do for everyone else… I think it’s back to the same old dress hanging in my closet this year…love the idea of this tank, I have the same problem with the belly bulge -
Karen | December 16th, 2009 at 11:37 am
I too have the post baby tummy and would love to have this to wear not just to holiday festivities but all the time!
Kristin Solomon | December 17th, 2009 at 4:59 am
Flying home to see family and want to look spiffy for our gathering. I have FINALLY lost all my baby weight (son is 19 months old) but I have that unsightly bulge that just won’t disappear despite my intense workouts 4x per week. Would LOVE LOVE LOVE to try Yummie Tummie products; however, being unemployed it’s not in my budget.
Jessica (aka The Unemployed Mom) | December 17th, 2009 at 6:34 am
No fancy parties for me, but this looks great.
Veronica | December 17th, 2009 at 6:56 am
Why haven’t I heard of these things before? A perfect addition to my wardrobe!
andrea | December 17th, 2009 at 10:14 am
Hahaha! I am just about nine months pregnant, so spiffing up is hardly on the agenda. We do have a Christmas party to attend if I am not in labor, so I SUPPOSE I might put some pants on for that. Pants equal dressing up, right? I will also wash my face AND brush my hair.
Annika | December 17th, 2009 at 10:16 am
Rockettes and Nutcracker Tea at the Ritz. Fun!

I’m going to the office Christmas party, for which I purchased a very simple black tshirt dress.
I’m also going to a friends house for Christmas dinner and I have no idea what I’m wearing yet!

New Years Eve with friends. Why skip getting dressed up just because we’ll be home with the kids?

I’m geting dressed up for a friend’s wedding this Sunday. Although it’s not typical wedding season, I’m looking forward to a beautiful venue and some good food.

I pretty much wear one everyday. Once I discovered them, I couldn’t imagine how I survived the past 30 years without it. I tell all my friends.
