What's the one thing I do regularly for myself?

This may not be considered a "thing," but I regularly allow myself to fall asleep on the couch at the end of the day (primetime, I mean, after the kid is in bed)! If the cleaning/bills/laundry can wait, I let 'em wait. I sleep. I also allow myself yummy Starbucks drinks during my commute. :)

"I don't like school"

It's 3 and a half years later, and I STILL sometimes have to fight tears when I drop off my son at daycare -- on the days when he cries and says he doesn't like school, I mean. Sometimes, usually Mondays like today, he clings onto me and everything else -- his car seat, the couch, even the garbage can…

What I like about being a working mom

I like being motivated to get up and dressed and out the door, even though it'd be nice to laze around a bit with my coffee in the mornings.
