This Friday was my grandfathers funeral (I promise this is a happy post!) and we had all kinds of fun family activities!  Thursday was dinner at my dads with all the uncles and kids and my sister and her daughter even came up!  My son was so excited!  He loves is a bit of a social butterfly.  So when my sister finally got there and my son saw her daughter it was ALL OVER!  She just followed him everywhere!  Was so cute!  So he keeps saying ‘hi baby!’ and pointing at her and then giggling and doing whatever he wanted to do.  But the consistant words were definitely ‘hi baby!’ 

Fast forward to Friday evening, after the afternoon funeral (very sad), to the dinner/banquet thing honoring my grandfather (long story – and not a funny one either!) at a hotel banquet room.  Our son is STILL saying ‘hi baby’ to his cousin.  Though now he knows it gets a reaction!  

So my husband has him out side in the hotel lobby during the ‘memory telling’ (it was quiet and he wanted to be chatty!) and apparently a very pretty woman walks by and, of course, our son says very loudly ‘hi baby!’ to which my husband loses it and laughs hysterically.  Yup.  He loved that!  So now our son is picking up chicks everywhere LOL saying hi to everyone as they walk by and throwing in the occasional ‘hi baby’ to women.  You just have to laugh!
