Another great day for me... It's really tiring to be a new mother, but at the same time- it's so wonderful and new... There are a few things that i didn't know about - like how exhausting breastfeeding is! But what it does teach me is being patient!!! That's something i'm not and that's an important quality to have with a newborn! It's a total trip... It also makes me so happy to see my husband so happy and proud of his expanded family! Great time to have a kid I must say! Makes the whole holiday season that much more special :)

  • I never got the privilege of breast feeding. I was preeclamptic with Nick and I never produced any milk. I wish I would have gotten the chance to at least try though. Maybe next time.

  • I've been done on business trips (and one fun trip, too) and didn't realize you'd had your baby! Congratulations!! Enjoy every precious minute of it!

  • I think the two things I relied on when bf'ing were that lanolin ointment stuff (for the soreness/chafing) and the pump. Holy cow, for such a small chested woman, there were times when I felt I was going to burst, esp as the intervals between feeding grew longer.... :-)

  • HAHA, Nataly is right, no excusees, Mama! Oh, breast feeding will so slooowww you down, but in the best way. Enjoy, love, live. And send pic. I think I'll have to post my Super Mama Muffin recipe...it's the best for a nursing mom, especially in the middle of the night when you're hungry, need to nurse, and have no idea what to snack on.

  • What's your excuse? You had a baby? That's a silly excuse to be tired:)

But really, the anticipation is building!
