I'm not sure how many of you saw Oprah's episode yesterday with Denzel Washington, but he said something that resonated deep within me.

"Do what you HAVE to do so you can do what you WANT to do."

This can fit so many situations. We HAVE to work to do anything we WANT to do today. For kids, he was talking about doing their homework first so they could go play or do whatever. I really like that quote.

 

After becoming a mom, I had this forwarded to me in an email and thought it was a beautifully simple quote.
