No, No, No !

I can feel it creeping in . . . the kids have been sick for a couple of days now.

 I woke up this morning with a painful throat, killer headache and just not feeling well overall.

Why now?  (I mean, I KNOW why now . . . it's winter. .. it's snowing . .  it's miserable)  But why RIGHT now?  Website launched on Saturday and we're all of a sudden in the mix of some CRAZY and overwhelming stuff - -

I just want to crawl in bed . . . but know that I need to take the opportunity of naptime today to catch up on some things.  Or should I just shut off the laptop and go watch a movie?

 Man . . . this is rough!

  • Definitely take a nap - that really helps me... although i'm sick now and couldn't take even 15 min to myself to nap.... also - i've been drinking a ton of tea with honey and lemon = that helps... sweat it out before it really gets bad! Hope you feel better!!!

  • Zinc, lots of zinc. I get these zinc lozanges at the drug store and just suck on them all day. I swear it helps.

    But I;m with the rest of the commenters - this is a sign that your immune system is stressed out and you should find a way - and trust me I know this is tough! - to slow down a bit. Just a little:)

  • Feel for you, Naomi! I was slammed with whatever headcoldy bug my 3-year-old had PLUS whatever stomach-flu-y bug my 1-year-old had, on the day after Thanksgiving (with a totally full house). It was miserable!

    I'd say that if you're body is begging for sleep, you should listen to it -- sometimes, you just need to turn your brain off and let your body start healing.

  • i agree with Mandy - and tell your body and your immune system to get IT TOGETHER ALREADY!! ha!! i also am a big fan of V8 fusion - i swear they should pay me, that stuff is tasty AND seems to keep me healthy!!

    i vote for taking a nap - sleep allows your body to recover and fight the bad guys and fix the damage. of COURSE you are run down! the site just launched! maybe subconsiously you just want a little bit of a rest ;)

    btw - site is looking good!!!!
